Chief Artificial Intelligence Officer

Aleksandar leads the development and application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) at Epirus, including building an AI-powered capability for short range air domain awareness. Aleksandar brings over two decades of leadership to Epirus in capabilities including AI, hardware and software, and technology areas such as robotics, automated driving and energy storage and conversion.

Prior to joining Epirus in 2022, Aleksandar spent 5 years at Amazon in Seattle leading the autonomy teams for the Scout sidewalk delivery robot. Before Amazon, Aleksandar was in Silicon Valley, leading automated driving engineering teams at Aptiv, and heading the energy technologies department of Bosch Corporate Research for over a decade.

Aleksandar holds a PhD and MS in mechanical engineering from MIT, and has 75 patents and 4299 Google Scholar citations.
