Epirus will take part in AFCEA West 2023, the premier sea services event conference and exposition on the West Coast, in San Diego, California, from February 14-16, 2023. At Booth #2410, the company will showcase scaled models of its suite of high-power microwave systems that are ushering in a new era of counter-electronics capability for the U.S. Navy, Marine Corps and Coast Guard.
Following a $66 million contract from the U.S. Army for its Leonidas counter-swarm systems in January 2023, the Epirus booth will feature:
- Leonidas – Epirus’ ground-based counter-electronics system for swarm defeat and terminal defense.
- Leonidas Pod – a mobile and compact HPM system with unprecedented portability and flexibility.
- Stryker Leonidas – mobile counter-swarm capability for enhanced short-range air defense (SHORAD) capability; developed in partnership with General Dynamics Land Systems.
- Epirus LRAM – what lies under the hood of Leonidas and enables the systems’ scalability.
- SmartPower technology platform – a multi-layered, intelligent power management architecture being developed to address the digital transformation of power and energy applications – and the nucleus of the company’s innovation.
